County Officials Attending MACo Summer Conference

Allegany County Commissioners Jake Shade, Creade Brodie, Jr., and Bill Valentine are all participating in the Maryland Association of Counties (MACo) Summer Conference which began Wednesday and runs through Saturday at Ocean City’s Roland Powell Convention Center.  County Administrator David Eberly and Director of Human Resources Brian Westfall will also attend.  Two thousand participants are expected for the conference with the theme this year: “Cyber Solutions: Counties in the Digital Age.” The conference will focus on all the ways county governments can lead with, and prepare for, the latest technology trends. There is no aspect of government service that is untouched by the evolution of the digital age.  Currently the co-chair of the Maryland Association of Counties Board of Directors, Commissioner Valentine said that he will have the opportunity to meet with the governor to discuss local projects during the conference…
