Allegany County Commissioner Bill Valentine says the county is ready, willing and able to help the City of Cumberland with some of its bridge issues.
Valentine told WCBC’s Dave Norman that the process seems to be at a bit of a standstill at this point…
City Administrator Jeff Rhodes tells WCBC News that the city is operating under the impression that it will have to provide a 20% match to the funds, and that since they are pass through federal funds, that the city would have to have the bridge built to federal guidelines.
