CPD Makes Disorderly Conduct & Theft Arrests

On April 11, 2016 an officer from the Cumberland City Police Department was handling a complaint on Greene Street, when two females started arguing near Parkview Liquor Store.  The officer made contact with Tracy Smith who was creating the disturbance.  Smith was warned several times by the officer to lower her voice and to keep the peace.  Smith refused to obey the officer and was arrested.  Smith was transported to the Cumberland City Police Department and served with a criminal summons.  Smith was later released from the station.

Charge: Disorderly Conduct

 

Criminal Summons Served

 

On April 11, 2016 Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on Mario MacDaniel Davis, age 36 of Cumberland, Maryland.  The summons was issued after a private citizen filed charges against Davis for stealing a cell phone from her residence.  Davis was served with the summons and released pending a trial date in District Court.

Charge: Theft less than $1,000
