CPD Make Littering/Drug Arrest

On March 10, 2016 at 8:05 am, officers from the Cumberland Police Department responded to a private business on George St. for a suspicious subject. When officers arrived they located a subject identified as Daniel Mills surrounded by trash and clothing on the private lot. Mills denied owning all the trash and belongings, and was advised to leave the area. Before leaving the area, Mills began collecting some of the items off the ground. While he was collecting his belongings, an amount of CDS fell to the ground. A search of Mills was then conducted and revealed CDS paraphernalia.  It was determined that all the trash and belongings on the property belonged to Mills. At this time Mills was placed under arrest. Mills was then transported to PH where he was issued Criminal and Civil citations. He was then released pending trial in District Court.

 

Arrested: Daniel A. Mills Jr.    Age: 64        Hagerstown, MD

Charges: Littering, Possession CDS Paraphernalia, Possession Marijuana less than 10 grams
