On 04/08/18 at 1:31pm an Officer with the Cumberland Police Dept observed a vehicle perform a traffic infraction in the area of I-68 West off ramp at Harrison St. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the occupants. Upon speaking with the driver the officer observed a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted with an amount of marijuana being located. As a result officers placed 30 year old Brittni Davis of Cumberland under arrest and transported her to Police Headquarters where she was charged with CDS possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Davis was taken for an initial appearance at District Court where she was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond pending her next court appearance.
Arrest Warrant Served
On 04/08/18 the Cumberland Police Dept served an arrest warrant on 24 year old Kelsey Jo Connors of Cumberland. The warrant stems from a citizen filing charges through the District Court on Connors. Connors was transported to Police headquarters where she was served the warrant charging her with Theft $100 to under $1,500. Connors was taken for an initial appearance at District Court where she was held on a $5,000 bail pending her next court appearance.
