CPD Makes Destruction Of Property & Robbery Arrests

On Sunday, October 30, 2016 at approximately 2:11 PM, the Cumberland Police Department responded to Queen City Plaza in reference a disturbance.  Upon officers’ arrival, the suspect, Nikita Bible, was observed grabbing a cell phone from the victim and breaking it onto the ground.  Bible was placed under arrest, processed, and taken to the District Court Commissioner’s Office where she was released on a $1,500 unsecured bond pending trial at the District Court of Allegany County.

 

ARRESTED:  Nikita Loraine Bible        AGE: 29           Cumberland, MD

CHARGES:   Malicious Destruction of Property less than $1,000,

Assault-2nd Degree, Disorderly Conduct, Disturbing the Peace

 

 

ROBBERY ARREST

 

On Sunday, October 30, 2016 at approximately 5:30 PM, the Cumberland Police Department responded to a Shriver Avenue address in reference to a reported domestic assault.  Upon arrival, an officer observed the suspect, Zachary Godlove, walking away from the residence.  Godlove then fled on foot.  Officers pursued Godlove, utilizing a K-9 in their efforts. During the foot pursuit, Godlove caused damage to a citizen’s vehicle.  Officers were able to apprehend Godlove. Investigation revealed that Godlove had assaulted two people and robbed one of the victims of their cell phone.  Godlove was arrested, processed, and transported to the District Court Commissioner’s Office where he was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on   a temporary commitment pending his initial appearance.

CHARGES:  Robbery, Assault-2nd Degree (x2), Malicious Destruction of Property less than $1,000
