CPD Makes Disorderly Conduct Arrest And Serves Warrant

During the afternoon hours of 07/26/16 officers from the Cumberland City Police responded to Warren Street for a disturbance.

When the officers arrived in the area they observed a male subject matching the description that had been broadcasted by the county dispatch center.

When the officers contacted the subject he began yelling at them.  The officers ordered the subject several times to stop yelling and to lower his voice.

The subject, McClave Cleland Combs III continued to yell at the officers, despite numerous orders by the officers to stop.

As a result of the incident, Combs was placed under arrest and charged with disorderly conduct.  He was later released on a criminal citation pending trial in district court.

Criminal Summons Service

On July 26, 2016 the Cumberland City Police Department served a criminal summons on Morgan Paige Grubb the service stemmed from an incident that occurred on Avirett Avenue.  Grub was released after the service of the summons pending trial in district court.

 

Arrested:

Morgan Paige Grubb 28 Y/O, Cumberland, MD

Charges:

Assault 2nd degree, disorderly conduct

 

On July 26, 2016 the Cumberland City Police Department served a criminal summons on Acacia Louise Spencer.  The service stemmed from an incident that occurred on Gay Street, Spencer was released after the service of the summons pending trial in district court.

 

Arrested:

Acacia Louise Spencer 19 Y/O, Cumberland, MD

Charge:

Theft less than $100.00

 

 

 

 

Arrest Warrant Served

 

On July 26, 2016 the Cumberland City Police Department served an arrest warrant on Maurice Gherel Tyson.  The warrant stemmed from a burglary complaint that occurred on Mt. Royal Avenue during the month of June.

On 06-07-16 an officer from the department responded to Mt. Royal Avenue for a burglary complaint.  The victim advised the officer numerous pieces of her jewelry and cash had been stolen from her residence.  On 06-08-16 officers responded to a Greene Street business for a suspicious transaction involving jewelry that owner of the business believed to have been stolen. Officers responded to the business and the suspect jewelry was determined to be the stolen from Mt. Royal Avenue.  Tyson was also identified as the subject who attempted to complete the transaction at the business.

Tyson was arrested and transported to the station for the warrant service.  He was later taken to district court for his initial appearance.  As a result of the hearing he was released pending trial in district court.
