CPD Makes Disturbance And CDS Arrests

On February 15, 2018 the Cumberland Police responded to the 100 block of Blaul Avenue in reference to a disturbance complaint.  Police learned a male subject, Jason Myles Roager, had began yelling and threatening the occupants of the residence before leaving the area.  Police were advised the subject had left the residence and walked toward W. First Street.  As police were checking the area of W. First Street they observed Roager yelling and threatening several subjects in the street.  Roager was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct and later released on a criminal citation pending trial in District Court.

CDS Arrest

On February 15, 2018 the Cumberland Police responded to the 100 block of Arch Street in reference to a suspicious vehicle possibly involved in drug activity.  When police arrived they found two adult females inside the vehicle.  A search of the vehicle revealed several items of CDS paraphernalia.  It was also learned one of the occupants, Amy Lynn Frye, had an active arrest warrant through Garrett County Circuit Court in Maryland for failing to appear for court on February 14, 2018.  A second warrant was discovered for Frye from Mineral County, West Virginia for contempt of court.  Frye was placed under arrest and a further search revealed more paraphernalia on her person and a small quantity of suspected Suboxone, a scheduled narcotic.  Frye was taken before a District Court Commissioner where she was held on a bond of $5000 for the CDS charges.  The other warrants will be used as detainers pending her release from the CDS charges.

Charges:  CDS Possession Other than Marijuana, CDS Poss/Dist Controlled Paraphernalia, CDS Possess Paraphernalia
