On Sunday, February 11th, 2018 the Cumberland Police responded to a business on the 1000 block of Industrial Blvd for a shoplifting complaint . While enroute to the business, the officer was advised that the suspect had left the area on foot. The officer was able to locate the suspect and detain him until he was able to complete his investigation. Through the investigation, it was learned that the suspect, Felix Ladale Perkins, age 54 of Cumberland, MD, had concealed items under his jacket and left the business without paying for them. Perkins was placed under arrest and taken to Police Headquarters where he was issued a Criminal Citation for Theft less Than $100 and released.

Warrant Arrest
On Sunday, February 11th, 2018 the Cumberland Police arrested Marquese Pernell Hopkins, age 19 of Cumberland, MD on an active arrest warrant. The warrant stemmed from an incident that occurred on February 9th, 2018 where Hopkins was found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana during a traffic stop. He was taken before the District Court Commissioner and released on his own personal recognizance.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana 10 grams or more
Warrant Arrest
On Sunday, February 11th, 2018 the Cumberland Police arrested Katie Lynn Shrader, age 20 of Cumberland, MD on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was for Failure to Appear for a court date. The original charges stemmed from a DUI arrest in November, 2017. Shrader was taken before the District Court Commissioner and released on her own personal recognizance.
