On January 9, 2017 the Cumberland Police served a Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on Daniel Rhyan Gomer after he failed to appear for court on December 29, 2016. Gomer was taken before a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing where he was released pending trial in District Court.

On January 9, 2017 the Cumberland Police served a Bench Warrant for Violation of Probation on Thomas Edward Spiker. Spiker was taken before a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing where he was held on $500.

CDS Arrest
On January 9, 2017 at approximately 11:41 AM the Cumberland Police responded to a business on Park Street in reference to a report of subjects inside a vehicle attempting to sell CDS to the store’s customers. Police arrived and made contact with several occupants of the vehicle. During contact with the individuals two hypodermic syringes were located on Shawn Douglas Oates. He was arrested and taken before a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing where he was held on $5000.
