CPD Serves Bench Warrants & Makes Disorderly Conduct Arrest

On Sunday June 18, 2017, Cumberland City Police served two bench warrants on Matthew Gonzales, age 31 of Cumberland.   The warrants were issued as a result of Gonzales failing to follow the conditions of his probation for a prior assault arrest.  Gonzales was held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.

WARRANT SERVICE

On Sunday June 18, 2017, Cumberland City Police served a bench warrant on Felicity Gonzales, age 30 of Cumberland.  The warrant was issued as a result of Gonzales failing to follow conditions of her probation as a result of a previous CDS arrest.  Gonzales was held without bond.

On Sunday June 18, 2017, Cumberland City Police served a bench warrant on Justin Nizer, age 38 of Cumberland.  The warrant was issued as result of Nizer failing to follow the conditions of his probation for a prior assault arrest.  Nizer was held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center. 

DISODERLY CONDUCT

On Sunday June 18, 2017, at 11:00 pm, Cumberland City Police officers responded to the area of Virginia Avenue for a disruptive female causing a public disturbance.  Officers observed Bethany Rafferty, age 28 of Cumberland yelling, cursing and trying to engage in a fight.  She was told several times to cease her actions but she refused to comply with the officers.  Rafferty was placed in custody and transported to the Cumberland City Police Department where she was criminally cited for Disorderly Conduct and was released pending trial.
