The Allegany County Chamber of Commerce and WCBC Radio are teaming up once again to provide a candidates forum- with a focus on the 9 individuals running for a seat on Cumberland’s City Council in the April primary. The event is scheduled for Monday March 12th at Allegany College of Maryland from 5 until 7 p.m. and it will be broadcast live by WCBC- with former board of education member Tim Woodring serving as moderator. This year’s city election is a unique as it features no incumbents- which means for the most part the field consists of political newcomers.
