Cumberland City Council to offer Live Stream of next meeting

The Cumberland Mayor and City Council will hold a special public meeting on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, beginning at 6:15 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.  City Hall is currently closed to the public, but the public meeting will be able to view the meeting via livestream at Cumberland City Hall Live Stream on Facebook.  

 

Beginning at approximately 6:30 p.m., the Mayor and Council will convene into closed session to discuss the selection of the new Police Chief, a proposal for the development of the East Side School site, and to consult with legal counsel regarding the transfer of City-owned property at 400 N. Mechanic Street.  Authority to close this session is provided by Sections 3-305(b) (1), (4) and (7) of the General Provisions Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland.

    Good chance to see the mayor and council in action without any of the parking issues. I think all the meetings should be live streamed
