Cumberland City Police Respond To Breaking & Entering Complaint On Elm St.

On December 28, 2015 at 4:01 PM officers from the Cumberland City Police Department responded to 708 Elm Street for a breaking and entering complaint.  When officers arrived they were informed that three male suspects were observed entering the residence which was determined to be vacant.  Officers were able to confirm from the owner that no one had permission to be inside the residence.   During a check of the residence officers found the rear door of the residence to be open and the exterior lock was broken off.  During a search of the building, officers located numerous items inside the residence that appeared to be left by the suspects.  Those items were confiscated by the officers and the building was cleared with no suspects located.  Officers from the Cumberland City Police Department are asking the public and residents in that area to contact the Department if they have any information regarding this case.
