February 18th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

On Tuesday,  41 year old Karl Andrew Brubaker, of Cumberland, was arrested by the Allegany County Sheriff's Office on an outstanding warrant obtained by the Allegany County Combined Criminal Investigation Unit (C3I). The charges stem from a complaint first filed with the Cumberland Police, and after a joint investigation with C3I.

The case involves incidents of inappropriate sexual contact that started in 2011 with a then 15 year old female victim, and again in 2013 with another female victim, who also was 15 years of age at that time. The inappropriate behavior continued for several years with both victims.

As a result of the investigation, Investigators obtained a warrant charging Brubaker with two counts of Sexual Abuse of a Minor, and numerous other related charges.

Brubaker posted bond, and is currently free pending his next court appearance.
