June 9th, 2017 by WCBC Radio

On June 8, 2017 the Cumberland Police served an arrest warrant on Arthur Tejeno Bunbasi, Jr. for Armed Robbery, 1st Degree Assault, and related offenses.  The warrant stems from an incident the Cumberland Police investigated on June 5, 2017 at approximately 11:42 PM in the 500 block of Greenway Avenue.  During that incident police responded to a report of a robbery in progress.  When police arrived they made contact with an adult male victim who said he was robbed by two suspects and one of them pulled a knife during the robbery.  The victim was assaulted and numerous items were taken from him.  The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and medical treatment was not required.  Bunsbasi was taken before a District Court Commissioner where he was held without bond.  He was taken to the Allegany County Detention Center to await his next appearance in District Court.  Corey Francis Schriner was arrested earlier this week in connection with this robbery.
