On November 5, 2015 officers from the Cumberland City Police Department served an arrest warrant on Duane Montaque-Bey, age 48 of Cumberland, Maryland. The warrant was issued as result of an incident that was reported to the Cumberland City Police Department on October 29, 2015. As a result of that incident, a private citizen filed for charges at the District Court Commissioner’s office that resulted in charges of Malicious Destruction of Property, Trespassing on Private Property and Assault 2nd Degree being issued. After Montaque-Bey was taken into custody on the warrant, officers located suspected drug paraphernalia on his person that resulted in a criminal citation being issued. Montaque-Bey was taken to the Cumberland City Police Department, where he was processed, served and taken before the District Court Commissioner. Montaque-Bey was later released on his own personal recognizance.

Charges: Malicious Destruction of Property, Assault 2nd Degree, Trespassing and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
