The Mayor and City Council of Cumberland will hold several meetings the evening of Tuesday, July 19, 2016.
Beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the City Hall second floor conference room, the Mayor and Council will meet in open work session to review the pavement management program and discuss the recommendations of Sage Policy / McCormick Taylor regarding the downtown mall.
Beginning at 5:30 p.m., the Mayor and Council will meet in closed session in the second floor conference room of City Hall to discuss union negotiations, real estate issues, and proposals regarding the potential relocation of businesses to Cumberland. Authority to close this session is provided for by the State Government Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland, Section 10-508 (a) (3), (4) and (9).
Beginning at 6:15 p.m., the Mayor and Council will convene to the Council Chambers to hold the regular public meeting beginning at 6:15 p.m. A copy of the public meeting agenda is attached and may also be referenced through the City's website at http://www.ci.cumberland.md.us/129/Agendas-Minutes
