On 11/15/14 at 6:23am officers with the Cumberland Police Dept responded to a business located in the 100blk of Winston St in reference to a breaking and entering/theft complaint. Upon arrival Officers contacted the owner of the business who advised that he arrived to work to find a window broken on a door leading into the interior of the business. It was determined that an unknown suspect made entry into the building through the window and rummaged through several areas of the business. Further investigation revealed that several company trucks had also been broken into and damaged. Several hundred feet of copper welding leads were removed from the beds of the vehicles. There are no suspects at this time and the investigation is continuing.
