Cumberland Police Investigating Vandalism at Parking Garage

The Cumberland Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect related to a destruction of property to the Center City Parking Garage, located on George Street, Cumberland, MD. The damage occurred sometime during the night of August 13th into the morning hours of August 14th. Unknown suspects are seen on security cameras damaging City of Cumberland property. One of the suspects was captured on security camera and the Cumberland Police Department is asking the public to help identify this individual. Please see the attached pictures.

In recent weeks the Center City Parking Garage has been a target of destruction of property and vandalism. The Cumberland Police Department would like to stress that the garage is only to be used for parking of licensed vehicles. Any other activities like bicycle riding, skateboarding, spray painting, the recording of entertainment videos, aggressive / dangerous driving, etc. is strictly prohibited.

Individuals located in the parking garage not there for official business or to park are considered trespassing and are subject to arrest.
