On Saturday the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 400 block of Maryland Avenue for the report of an intoxicated subject inside of a business causing a disturbance. Brian Keith Shea Jr., 21 was taken into custody and charged with Disorderly Conduct and Fail to Obey a Lawful Order. Shea was transported to Cumberland Police Department for processing. He was released on personal recognizance.
On Friday the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on John Gary Clark, 21, of Cumberland, for 2nd Degree Assault. The arrest warrant stems from a 4:15 AM Friday incident where Clark allegedly assaulted an adult male family member during an argument. Clark was arrested and released on his own personal recognizance until trial.
