On Saturday October 10, 2015, at 4:54 pm, Cumberland City Police Officers responded to a business on Industrial Boulevard to check the well being of a motorist who was asleep in his car. Officers obtained consent to search the vehicle and as a result officers found over two ounces of Marihuana was found. Also located were paraphernalia items such as digital scales, numerous baggies and a sum of currency. Michael Ford, age 38 of Cumberland, was placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland City Police Department where he was processed and served. He was later taken to the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office for a bond hearing. Ford was held on a $5,000.00 dollar bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.
