Cumberland Police Make Disorderly Conduct Arrest & Investigate Motor Vehicle Tampering

On 4/29/18 at approximately 2130 hours officers were called to a West Second Street residence to assist the Cumberland Fire Department.  While on the scene officers made contact Todd Ellsworth Adams Jr.  He was yelling and screaming causing a public disturbance.  Officers attempted to calm Adams but he refused to listen and continued to yell.  At one point Adams head butted the side of the Fire Department Ambulance.  At this point Adams was placed under arrest.  Adams was released from custody pending trial in District Court.

Charges: Disorderly Conduct & Disturbance of the Peace

 

On 4/30/18 at approximately 0323 hours officers were called to a Baltimore Avenue residence for a tampering with a motor vehicle.  Officers arrived contacting a witness who reported seeing two subjects pouring a substance on a vehicle parked on the street as well as putting a substance in the fuel tank.  The two female subjects ran down Baltimore Avenue towards Goethe Street.  The witness observed them both enter a dark colored passenger car and flee the area.  Anyone with any information about this incident or anyone who may have cameras in the area is asked to contact the Cumberland Police Department.
