Cumberland Police Make Theft Arrests, Serve Bench Warrants

Theft Arrest

On November 19, 2016 at approximately 1:00 PM a Cumberland Police Officer was called to a Park Street business for a reported theft.  Upon the Officer’s arrival he contacted a store security employee.  The employee stated Teresa Ann Rose had concealed items from the store on her person.  Rose was then placed under arrest and was transported to the Cumberland Police Department.  She was issued a criminal citation and was released pending trial in Allegany County District Court.

Arrested:

Teresa Ann Rose , age 39, Ridgeley, WV

Charges:

Theft: less than $100.00

Theft Arrests

On November 19, 2016 a Cumberland Police Officer served a criminal summons on William Joseph Dibuono.  The summons stemmed from an incident that occurred in August 2016.  A citizen called to report a Theft.  The citizen stated she needed work completed on her vehicle and was advised that William Dibuono could fix the vehicle.  The citizen bought the part for the vehicle.  According to the citizen Dibuono looked at the vehicle and stated there was no need to fix the vehicle.  Dibuono allegedly then took the part for the vehicle, returned it and kept the money instead of giving it back to the citizen.  The criminal summons was served and he was released pending trial in Allegany County District Court.

Bench Warrant Arrest

On November 19, 2016, Cumberland Police Officers served bench warrants for Violation of Probation on the following subjects:

John Michael Pinson, age 28, Cumberland, MD

Charges:

Bench Warrant for Violation of Probation

He was held on a pre-set $500.00 of which he posted and was released pending trial in Allegany County District Court.

Amber Dawn Murphy

Charge:

Bench Warrant for Violation of Probation

She was held on a pre-set $2,600.00 of which she posted and was released pending trial in Allegany County District Court.
