Cumberland Police Make Violation Of Probation, Protective Order Arrests

On Thursday, December 27th, 2018 the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Nathaniel Andrew Morgan for violation of probation.  The warrant was issued by District Court when he failed to follow the conditions of his probation ordered by the court back on July 2nd, 2018.  Morgan was taken before the District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held on a $1,000 bond.

Violation of Protective Order Arrest

On Thursday, December 27th, 2018 the Cumberland Police Department responded to a Wills Creek Avenue residence for the report of a female on the property violating a protective order.  When officers arrived, contact was made with the complainant who showed officers an active copy of a protective order against Sarah Savanah Baker.  The protective order was issued by the Montgomery County District Court and prohibited Baker from making contact with the complainant and ordered her to stay away from the complainant’s residence.  Baker was located on scene when officers arrived.  She was placed under arrest and charged with violating the protective order.  Baker was taken before the District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.
