On September 28th, 2017, the Cumberland Police arrested Richard Lloyd Whaley Jr, 43 years old of Cumberland, MD on an outstanding arrest warrant. Whaley was charged with Second Degree Assault for an incident that occurred in April 2017 at a local facility. During the incident, Whaley is alleged to have “head-butted” the victim causing injury. Whaley was taken before the District Court Commissioner and is currently being held on $20,000 bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.

Warrant Arrest
On September 28th, 2017 the Cumberland Police arrested Nathan Allen Herrell, age 35 of Cumberland, MD. Herrell was charged with Failure to Appear for a court date. The original charge was Trespassing. Herrell also had an outstanding Circuit Court Warrant from Washington Co for Failure to Appear for a Child Support Hearing. He is currently being held at the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

Warrant Arrest
On September 29th, 2017 the Cumberland Police arrested William Morgan Stewart Sr, 34 years old of Cumberland MD. Stewart had an outstanding arrest warrant for Failure to Appear for a Child Support Hearing. He was taken before the District Court Commissioner and released.
