Officers from the Cumberland Police Department responded to an East First Street residence for a noise complaint. Upon the arrival of officers they made contact with Christopher Douglas Balderson who was visiting at the residence. Officers learned that Balderson had an active bench warrant for violation of probation. Balderson was taken into custody without incident. He was later taken before the District Court Commissioner where he was held on a $500.00 bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.
