Cumberland Police Serve Arrest Warrants

On 10/26/17 the Cumberland Police Dept served an arrest warrant on 35 year old Justin Frazier of Cumberland. The warrant stems from an investigation initiated by the Cumberland Police Dept on 10/23/17 when officers responded to the area of Oak and Browning St for a report of a strong armed robbery. Upon arrival Officers contacted the victim who advised that they were handing another subject some currency when Frazier ripped it out of their hands and then fled the area on foot. Officers checked the area for Frazier with negative results. An Application for Charges was completed and presented before the District Court Commissioners Office resulting in the warrant being issued. Frazier was transported to Police Headquarters where he was processed and served the warrant charging him with Robbery, Assault 2nd degree, and Theft less than $100. Frazier was taken for an initial appearance at District Court where he was held on a $20,000 bail pending his next court appearance.

 

Also on 10/26/17 the Cumberland Police Dept served an arrest warrant on 35 year old Roddrick Davis of Cumberland. The warrant stems from an investigation initiated by the Cumberland Police Dept on 08/16/17 when officers responded to the 400blk of Columbia St for a report of an assault. Upon arrival officers contacted the victim who stated that a subject who they identified as Davis had came to their residence and threatened bodily harm to them while producing a knife. Officers were unable to locate Davis at this time. An Application for Charges was completed and presented before the District Court Commissioners Office resulting in the warrant being issued. Davis was transported to Police Headquarters where he was processed and served the warrant charging him with 2 counts of first degree assault, 2 cts second degree assault, 2 cts deadly weapon with intent to injure, stalking, and disorderly conduct. Davis was taken for an initial appearance at District Court where he was held without bond pending his next court appearance.

The Cumberland Police Department on Sunday served several District Court Arrest Warrants.

 

Carl Christopher Horsman III               Age: 40               Cumberland, MD

Charge: Petty Theft less than $100

Horsman was taken for a Bond Hearing and held in the ACDC on a $10,000 Bond.

Two Arrest Warrants were issued as a result of an Investigation into an incident that occurred on Memorial Ave. on 1-26-2017.  The incident involved several subjects attempting to gain entry into a residence where it was reported one shot was fired.  The investigation was started by CPD patrol officers and then completed by C3I detectives.

 

Dajaun Mikel Pendergast               Age: 20                 Cresaptown, MD

Charges: Armed Robbery, Assault 1st Degree, Reckless Endangerment, Assault 2nd Degree

Pendergast was taken for a Bond Hearing and held in the ACDC on a $75,000 Bond.

 

Tavante Ernest Jones                     Age: 20             Bedford St., Cumberland

Charges: Armed Robbery, Assault 1st Degree, Assault 2nd Degree, Reckless Endangerment

Jones was taken for a Bond Hearing and held in the ACDC without Bond.
