Cumberland Police Serve Bench & Arrest Warrants

On 03/06/18 The Cumberland Police Department served three bench warrants on 27 year old Nicholas Moreland of Cumberland. The warrants stem from Moreland failing to appear in District Court on charges of Assault 2nd degree and 2 counts of trespassing. Moreland was taken for an initial appearance at District Court where he was released on his personal recognizance on all three warrants pending trial in District Court.

 

Arrest Warrant Served

 

On 03/06/18 The Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on 51 year old Kimberly Ann Troutman of Cumberland. The warrant stems from an investigation initiated by the Cumberland Police Dept on March 5th 2018 when Officers responded to the 200blk of Baltimore Ave for a report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival Officers contacted several witnesses who advised that they observed Troutman attempting to break into an apartment by several different means. Troutman left the area prior to officer’s arrival. Officer then applied for charges through the District Court. Troutman was served with the arrest warrant charging her with Attempted 4th degree burglary and destruction of property. Troutman was taken for an initial appearance at District Court where she was held on a $1,000 bail pending her next court appearance.
