Cumberland Police Serve Criminal Summons

On Sunday, October 1, 2017, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Joseph Natale. The summons was issued in connection with an incident that occurred on September 14, 2017.  On this date at approximately 12:00 PM, officers responded to a residence on Grand Avenue for a disturbance.  The police contacted the victim who reported that Natale had assaulted her by pinning her against the side of a staircase by holding his forearm on her throat.  The victim also reported that Natale had struck her in the elbow with a vacuum cleaner the previous day.  Officers observed injuries to the victim.  After investigation, charges were filed against Natale at the District Court of Allegany County and a summons was issued.  Natale was released after being served.

 

ARRESTED:  Joseph Patrick Natale         AGE:  36        Cumberland, MD

CHARGE:  Assault-2nd Degree

On Tuesday, September 26, 2017, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Daniel Gore Jr.  The summons was issued in connection with an incident that was reported on September 25, 2017.  On this date at approximately 12:10 AM, officers responded to a Park Street business for a shoplifting complaint.  The staff advised that Gore stole a bag of candy from the store.  After investigation, charges were filed against Gore at the District Court of Allegany County and a summons was issued.  Gore was released after being served.

 

ARRESTED:  Daniel Wayne Gore, Jr.   AGE:  30      Cumberland, MD

CHARGE: Theft less than $100
