Cumberland Police Serve Warrants & Makes Disorderly Conduct Arrest

On Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018 the Cumberland City Police responded to a Davidson Street address for a domestic disturbance.  When officers arrived, contact was made with the victim that alleged she was assaulted by her roommate, Keonna Marie Britton.  Britton who was also wanted for failure to appear in Circuit Court on a CDS charges was found inside the residence and taken into custody.  She was later remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center until she can be seen by a Circuit Court Judge.

Disorderly Arrest

 

On Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018 the Cumberland City Police responded to that area of Hampton Place for a large disturbance involving numerous individuals.  When officers arrived, they were told by subjects on scene that the male that initiated the disturbance took off running as police arrived.  Officers gave chase and after a short foot pursuit, Terrance Howard of Cumberland was detained.  Police learned then that before they arrived, Howard allegedly was trying to fight with several residents in the area and may have attempted to cause some property damage.  He was placed under arrest and charged with disorderly conduct, cited and released pending trial.

Bench Warrant Served

 

On Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018 the Cumberland City Police served a District Court bench warrant on Ashton Renea Hite.  The warrant was issued when Hite failed to appear in District Court on December 1, 2017 to answer to the charge of CDS possession.  She was taken before the District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held on a $5,000 bond.
