Cumberland Police Serves Criminal Summons

On Monday September 16, 2019, the Cumberland City Police served a Criminal Summons on William Davis, age 42 of Cumberland, Maryland. The Summons stemmed from a December 2018 incident where Davis allegedly intentionally broke a window at a business on N. Mechanic Street. Subsequently, an application for charges was submitted in District Court, and a Criminal Summons was issued charging him with malicious destruction of property, disorderly conduct, intoxicated public disturbance, and disturbing the peace. Davis was served with the Criminal Summons and released pending trial in District Court.

On Monday September 16, 2019, the Cumberland Police served a Criminal Summons on Daniel Bohrer, age 44 of Cumberland, Maryland. The Summons stems from an assault that is alleged to have occurred on September 14, 2019. The victim in the incident applied for charges on Bohrer in District Court and a Criminal Summons was issued charging him with second degree assault. Bohrer was served with the Criminal Summons and released pending trial in District Court.
