Cumberland Police Serves Warrants

On April 6th, 2017 the Cumberland City Police served arrest warrants on Brian Allen James and Branden Scott Clark of Cumberland.  The warrants were a result of an incident on Spring Street back on April 3rd where the Cumberland City Police responded to a large disturbance and a report of several subjects fighting.  James and Clark were identified as being part of the altercation and were suspected of using bricks as weapons against another male involved in the incident.  Applications for charges were filed by police and warrants issued.  Both were taken before the District Court Commissioner and released on their own personal recognizance. 

 

Brian Allen James, age: 28, Cumberland, Maryland

Charges:  Assault 1st and 2nd, affray, and disorderly conduct

Released on personal recognizance

 

Braden Scott Clark, age: 20, of Cumberland Maryland

Charges:  Assault 1st and 2nd, affray, and disorderly conduct

Released on personal recognizance

 

 

Fugitive Warrant Served

 

     On April 6th, 2017 the Cumberland City Police served a fugitive arrest warrant on Frank Germaine MacDonald of Cumberland.  MacDonald was wanted out of Mineral County for driving on a suspended license and physical battery.  MacDonald was also found to be in possession of a quantity of marihuana less than 10 grams and was issued a citation for possession of marihuana.  He was then taken before the District Court Commission and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center until he can be extradited back to West Virginia.

 

Frank Germaine MacDonald, age: 33, Cumberland

Charge: Fugitive warrant driving suspended, physical battery, and marihuana possession under 10 grams.

Held at the Allegany County Detention Center without bond
