On Wednesday, November 28th, 2018 the Cumberland Police Department responded to a Yost Avenue address for a disturbance complaint. When officer arrived, they spoke with the complainant who told officers that his ex-girlfriend, Bethany Lynn Johnson had entered his residence without his permission. Officers determined that Johnson had no reason to be inside the residence and she was directed to leave and not to return and create anymore problems. Moments later, Officers received another complaint that Johnson had returned to the Yost Avenue residence and was actively creating another disturbance. Officers responded back and observed Johnson back on the property. She was placed under arrest and charged with disturbing the peace and failure to obey a lawful order. Johnson was cited and released pending trial.
