On 12/14/16 at 5:49pm Officers with the Cumberland Police Dept responded to a residence located in the 500blk of Fairview Ave in reference to a Breaking and Entering complaint. Upon arrival Officers contacted the victim who advised that they were upstairs in their residence when they heard a noise coming from downstairs. The victim then went downstairs where they observed an unknown female sitting at their kitchen table. The female was identified as 49 year old Kimberly Burkett of Cumberland. Burkett was placed under arrest and transported to Police Headquarters where she was charged with one count of 4th Degree Burglary. Burkett was taken for an initial appearance at District Court where she was released on her personal recognizance pending trial in District Court.
