A resident in attendance at this week’s meeting of the Cumberland Mayor and City Council inquired as to the possibility of the city implementing a curb side recycling program as part of trash collection. Mayor Brian Grim said that the idea was discussed several years ago, but nothing had come to fruition. City Administrator Jeff Rhodes said that talks about a new contract with Advance Disposal, the company that provides trash collection service for the city, should begin in the near future- and recycling will be part of those talks…
