After hearing about a wide variety of parking issues from business and property owners at a meeting last week- the Downtown Development Commission will schedule a special meeting in December to try to address some of the concerns. The complaints voiced at that earlier meeting ranged from an overall lack of available parking space; to the price of paying for monthly parking; to a lack of clarity over exactly where and when people are allowed to park at certain locations. DDC member Dan Bowser pointed to the parking garages as an example of some of the confusion that exists, with many people not aware of the times and fees.
