Death Penalty Laid to Rest in Maryland

The Maryland General Assembly approved a measure to ban the death penalty on Friday. According to WBAL News, the House of Delegates voted 82-56 to pass the bill. The measure was already approved by the Maryland Senate a few weeks ago. Governor Martin O'Malley, is expected to sign the bill, making Maryland the 18th state to abolish the death penalty. The last execution in Maryland was in 2005.

    All i can say is Watch The Murder Rate Rise. If One knows they wont be puninished for the crime [by a eye for eye punishnent} , Then why not commit the crime. Real bad move Maryland . I hope none of your loved ones or yourself have to experience a loss of someone being murdered to know that the punishment should fit bthe crime. BETTER THINK THIS ONE OVER.
