The Del Commission has presented a list of recommendations to Allegany County- and the hope is that serious talks about a new five year contract can soon begin. The Del Commission was formed in January with the idea for the seven-member panel to develop a list of priorities to help facilitate a five-year contract to keep DelFest in the county. Commissioner Bill Valentine says he doesn’t see any stumbling blocks or hurdles- noting that the only significant changes center on establishing a liaison to DelFest to ensure the music festival's success over the next five years; and working out details for a non compete clause.
