Delaney Hosting Entrepreneurship Workshop

June 20th, 2016 by WCBC Radio

Congressman John K. Delaney (MD-6) will host an Entrepreneurship Workshop June 20 in Hagerstown. The event is free and open to the public and will offer Marylanders an opportunity to learn more about starting and growing their own business. Prior to being elected to Congress in 2012, Delaney founded and led two successful publicly-traded companies and is a past winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

Constituents can RSVP by calling 301-733-2900 or by clicking here.

“The goal of this workshop is to connect aspiring entrepreneurs with the resources and advice they need and I encourage anyone thinking about starting their own business to attend. As someone who founded two businesses from scratch, encouraging the next generation of entrepreneurs is an issue near and dear to my heart. It’s so exciting to hear new ideas and meet people working towards their dreams,” said Congressman Delaney. “Helping small businesses succeed is also essential to growing our economy and creating more good-paying jobs in Western Maryland.”
