In addition to providing world class Blue Grass musical entertainment at the Allegany County Fairgrounds each Memorial Day Weekend- DelFest serves a more important role in the community by way of giving back. The purpose of the DelFest Foundation is to nurture a strong community, raise awareness of social justice issues, and support a healthy environment. Fundraising efforts, including but not limited to music and other arts events, and has assisted in raising awareness of these causes and the raise necessary funds to donate to worthwhile non-profit organizations. The Foundation has taken an active role in affecting positive, lasting change in the community.
