Dig Deep Brewery Appears To Be Opening In A Few Weeks

After any number of false starts and missed target dates it appears as though the long awaited opening of the Dig Deep Brewery on the ground floor of the Footer Dye Works Building is just a few weeks away now. Owner/operator Robert Dettinburn has informed the Canal Place Preservation and Development Authority that the installation of equipment is complete; test runs have been taking place and the final permits are being secured. The plan has been for a craft brewery operation with a related or adjacent food operation. During Tuesday’s Canal Place board meeting, executive director Dee Dee Ritchie said that she took a walking tour of the operation early this week and it appears all systems are go…
