Domestic Charges Filed Against City Woman

On Saturday, June 29, 2019, at 2:51 pm, the Cumberland Police responded to the 300 block of North Center Street for a domestic assault.

When officers arrived they located a male subject identified as Larren Sullivan, age 38 of Cumberland, outside the business doors creating a disturbance. Officers further observed damage to the doors of the business. Officers investigating the incident discovered that Sullivan and a female victim had been in an argument. During the argument the female was assaulted both inside and outside the business.

Due to the physical assault, Sullivan was removed and locked out of the business awaiting police response. Subsequently, once Sullivan was outside he began kicking the doors causing damage. Sullivan was then arrested and charged with 2nd degree assault, malicious destruction of property under $1000, disorderly conduct, and disturbing the peace. Sullivan was later taken to District Court for his Initial Appearance and released on his own recognizance pending trial.
