On Saturday, at approximately 5:00 PM the Cumberland Police responded to a residence in the 500 block of Pine Avenue for a disturbance.
When police arrived they learned a female, Cassandra Ann Baker, and a male subject had been involved in an argument. While conducting the investigation officers observed in plain view in the bedroom a white powdery substance suspected to be Suboxone, a Schedule III narcotic, and CDS paraphernalia.
Baker was arrested for CDS Possession Other Than Marijuana and CDS Possession of Paraphernalia. She was taken before a District Court Commissioner where she was held on a bond of $1500. She was taken to the Allegany County Detention Center to await her next court appearance.
