Most of the attention on Cumberland Mall businesses that would be affected by a reopening to traffic and a reconfiguration has focuses on restaurants with outdoor dining.
However, another business that would be dramatically affected would be Downtown Dollar, which is located at the corner of Centre and Baltimore Streets.
We asked owner Mike Knippenberg to react to the plan…
Knippenberg says he was never contacted about the plan, and said there may be a way to configure the area that would maintain his current level of business…
