Downtown Grocery Store Has Closed

July 3rd, 2013 by WCBC Radio

Mor For Less, a low price grocery store that has offered a convenient marketing alternative for those  downtown residents who don’t drive, has closed its doors at the Queen City Drive location. A simple sign in the window stated that management was unable to come to terms on a new lease at that location-and as of Tuedsay, July 2nd, the business has ceased doing business. The sign, which thanked its loyal customers, noted that the Mor For Less store at White Oaks in south Cumberland has not been impacted and it will remain opened for business.

Another loss at what was oncea thriving downtown business area. Blame the landlord- you know who it is, same people who own the parking tower and holiday inn.
