DREAM Act Arguments Begin

Attorneys have presented arguments on a Maryland bill to allow in-state tuition for illegal immigrants. According to WBAL News and the Baltimore Sun, the DREAM Act would be put to voters in November if the lawsuit is dismissed. The legislation was introduced last year; however, has met heavy resistance since with approximately 132,000 people signing a petition to stop the legislation.
