The Deep Creek Dunk was held for the twenty first year Saturday behind the Honi Honi Bar at the lake.
Special Olympics Maryland indicated on its website that the event had raised $140,000, which is short of the $200,000 goal for the event.
That number, though, is expected to grow as more contributions are reported by participants.
