Early Voting Begins Today

Early voting begins today in Maryland giving registered voters the opportunity to participate in the midterm general election set for November 6th. Diane Loibel, Allegany County election administrator, tells WCBC News that locally, voters can take part in early voting in room 100 at the Allegany County Complex on Kelly Road. Early voting is from 10 a.m to 8 p.m. through November 1st.   She adds that citizens may register to vote at the county complex as well- however, voters already registered can't change their party affiliation at that time. While turnout in midterm elections usually is much lighter than in General elections, Loibel says she expects decent numbers in Allegany County with absentee ballots one of the indicators…
