Early Voting In Maryland To Be Expanded

November 8th, 2013 by WCBC Radio

As a result of action this year by the Maryland General Assembly early voting in next year’s elections will be expanded.  The measure, approved last March, will give Marylanders two more early voting days. It will also allow people to register to vote and immediately cast ballots at early voting centers, and also give them the opportunity to obtain absentee ballots online. Diane Loibel, Allegany County Board of Elections administrator, outlined the new schedule which for the primary election will run from June 12th to June 19th, from 8 am to 10 pm; and for the general, October 23rd through November 4th
